* The Chainsmokers crashed a high school prom in Chicago and gave a 10-minute performance.

* The duo posted a photo of them at the event and tweeted “Crashed this prom just now. It was across the street from our arena show, show why not?

* While the performance was a surprise to the kids, it was actually planned with the help of the principal.

* He said he got a random phone call from a filmographer that worked for the duo a couple of weeks ago. He told him “This is going to be the strangest call you’ve ever received but one of your students actually sent an email to the manager of the band.

* The principal said it was the toughest secret he’s ever kept and the Chainsmokers tweeted, “Your prom could be next.”

* Study shows that placebo can cure a broken heart.

* You can actually recover faster by tricking someone into thinking they’re on the mend.

* Participants who had recently exited a relationship were given a nasal spray without medicinal properties, which is where the placebo effect was tested.

* Half were told that the spray was a “powerful analgesic effective in reducing emotional pain.” The other half were told it was just saline solution.

* Those who were tricked reported feeling less physical and emotional pain.
