§ Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated album is officially out after dealing with a big leak, 12 hours before it’s official release yesterday.
§ Many fans are fiercely protective of her music and quickly rebuked anyone that leaked the music or anyone that dared listen to it before the album actually dropped.
§ Las t night she debuted her new single “New Year’s Day” during the airing of Scandal on ABC.
§ Pre-orders for the new album hit an astonishing 400,000 units and predictions are that she will sell over 2 million units in the first week of sales.
§ O.J. Simpson was booted from The Cosmopolitan Hotel on Wednesday after allegedly drinking too much and then being unruly.
§ He has been visiting the bars in the hotel since his release from prison and around midnight on Wednesday going into Thursday, he became disruptive at the Clique bar.
§ Sources say he was angry at hotel staff and glasses broke at the bar.
§ Security showed up and removed him from the hotel.
§ He was cooperative with the guards but he has been permanently banned from The Cosmopolitan.
§ When asked for comment, they responded “The alleged reports that are circulating are inaccurate. As a matter of company policy, we do not comment on patron information in respect to the privacy and security of our guest.”
§ They would not say which part of the report was inaccurate.
§ Update: The National Toy Hall of Fame is getting three new entrants.
§ We told you about the finalists a couple of months ago and now we know who gets the coveted spots: the board game Clue, the Wiffle Ball, and the paper airplane.
§ The year’s other finalists were the game Risk, Magic 8 Ball, Matchbox cars, My Little Pony, the Pez candy dispenser, play food, sand, Transformers and the card game Uno.
§ Nutella fans are livid…the makers of the hazelnut spread confirmed this week that their recipe “underwent a fine-tuning.”
§ That announcement set off both panic and anger on social media!
§ One user wrote, “Real cook! Why not draw a mustache on the Mona Lisa too?”
§ Another wrote “OMG!! They are changing the recipe of #Nutella!!! NOOOOOO HOW DARE THEY!! Leave the sugar and coco alone!!”
§ It’s even spawned the hashtag #NutellaGate.
§ The company that makes Nutella insists “the quality…and all other aspects of Nutella remain the same.”
§ The changes are to its milk and sugar content.
