§     The Vegas Golden Knights are advancing to the Western Conference Final!

§     They beat the San Jose Sharks in Game 6 last night, 3-0.

§     Jonathan Marchessault, Nate Schmidt and Cody Eakin each scored, and Marc-Andre Fleury made 28 saves for the team.

§     They will face the winner of the Winnipeg Jets-Nashville Predators second-round series.

§     The Jets lead the series 3-2 and Game 6 is tonight at Winnipeg.



§     This Sunday is Mother’s Day and if you’ve totally spaced on making a reservation for one of the busiest restaurant days of the year, some tips are trending.

§     More than 1700 people have been evacuated from the neighborhood in the line of the lava flow.



§     A man known for his obsession with McDonald’s Big Mac has eaten his 30,000thburger.

§     Don Gorske of Wisconsin holds the Guinness World Record for most Big Macs consumed.

§     On Friday he ate his 30,000th at the same McDonald’s location where he first tried the sandwich back in the early 1970’s.

§     He said 90% of his diet is probably Big Macs.

§     He also proposed to his wife in the parking lot of his local McDonald’s.
