Janelle Monáe, Carly Rae Jepsen Tapped for 2019 Life is Beautiful

Music & Art Festival returns to Downtown Las Vegas September 20 to 22

April 23, 2019

The first and final name in Las Vegas music festivals has announced its lineup for the 2019 edition and, lordy, where do we start when it all looks so good?

Your 2019 Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival returns to Downtown Las Vegas September 20-22 with some returning artists, including Janelle Monáe, who last appeared at the inaugural festival in 2013. Since then, she’s dropped Dirty Computer and seen her acting career take off with appearances in Moonlight, Hidden Figures, and the upcoming Harriet Tubman biopic, Harriet.

Also on the bill: singer/actress Carly Rae Jepsen, who is poised to drop her fourth studio album, Dedicated, in May. There’s no doubt we’ll hear some of those fresh tracks when Ms. Jepsen takes the stage, but for old times sake, let’s cross our fingers for “Call Me Maybe” too.

The 2019 festival will also feature Post Malone, the return of Portugal. The Man, who last played Life Is Beautiful in 2013, as well as WALK THE MOON, Madison Beer, Flora Cash, and Die Antwoord

That’s just scratching the surface, by the way, as Life is Beautiful is set to host more than 70 artists and groups on its stages. Even Toto is going to be there! A complete list of performers can be found on the festival’s website

Life is Beautiful regulars also know it’s not all about the music. In addition to the Culinary Village and art attractions, the 2019 festival will welcome some of pop culture’s most recognized personalities, including the hosts of Pod Save America, comedians Desus & Mero, and Queer Eye grooming god Jonathan Van Ness; with Cirque du Soleil also on tap to appear.

Tickets to the Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival start at $315 for General Admission, with VIP ($665), VIP+(1,295), and the crème de la crème ALL-IN ($2,750) packages available when sales begin Thursday, April 25.
