#SuperBowl

§     The countdown is on…the big game is this Sunday.

§     And don’t be surprised if some of your coworkers are not at work on Monday.

§     An estimated 17.2 million adults employed in the U.S. are expected to miss work the day after the Super Bowl.

§     And it’s not just employees…their bosses are more likely to not work normal hours the Monday after the Super Bowl.

§     3.1 million workers are expected to show up late and 6.3 million are expected to leave work early.

#MostTrusted

§     Survey: The profession that people trust more than any other are nurses with 95% of the public saying they would trust them to tell the truth.

§     They’re followed by doctors (92%), teachers (89%), scientists (85%), weather forecasters (84%) and judges (83%).

§     The least trusted? Politicians, Advertising executives and Social media influencers.

#ArianaGrande

§     We talked about her tattoo mistake earlier this week.

§     She showed off her latest ink which was two Japanese characters on the palm of her hand which she thought translated to “7 Rings,” the name of her latest single.

§     Fans quickly pointed out that she was missed a few characters and the two letters actually said “BBQ grill.”

§     She embraced the mistake and apologized for her blunder.

§     Well, she fixed it…kind of. She uploaded a photo of the updated tattoo but it turns out that it’s still not quite right.

§     A Japanese speaker says it now says, “seven fingers.”

#Squidward

§     Rodger Bumpass, the voice of Squidward from “Spongebob Squarepants,” posted, “To all Spongebob fans!! Tune into the Super Bowl because Squidward gets to introduce the halftime entertainment!”

§     The campaign to make it happen started as a tribute to the show’s creator Stephen Hillenburg who died in November following a battle with ALS.

§     The intro is also a tribute to the episode in which Squidward attempts to lead the residents of Bikini Bottom in a marching band to impress his rival Squilliam.

§     The band performs at the “Bubble Bowl,” where they give an impressive performance of a power balled called “Sweet Victory.”

§     “Is mayonnaise an instrument?”
