§     She and her husband have been indicted for fraud and an additional charge of money laundering.

§     This has increased the amount of time that she and her husband would get as a minimum sentence.

§     The U.S. Attorney says that they, along with 14 others, will now be charged with the additional crime of “conspiring to launder the bribes.”

§     The money laundering charge alone carries a maximum of 20 years in prison.

§     If they want to plea bargain their case now, instead of a minimum range of 2 to 2 ½ years in prison, prosecutors would recommend to the judge a minimum of 4 years and 9 months up to 5 years and 11 months.

#Dogs

§     Study: Dogs, like people, tend to stay away from “nasty” people who “behave negatively.”

§     Dogs are more likely to avoid people exhibiting unhelpful behavior to their owners.

§     Researchers say that dogs have a sense about people, are able to differentiate their intentions, and will stay away from those that are not nice.

§     They also determined that this “negativity bias” has also been exhibited in “3-year-old human children and tufted capuchin monkeys.”

#LilNasX

§     Not only is he the first “country-trap” artist to ever top the Billboard Hot 100, he’s now set another record.

§     His “Old Town Road” is the second-shortest chart-topping single in 59 years.

§     It’s only 113 seconds long.

§     It’s second behind Maurice Williams and The Zodiacs’ 1960 doo-wop classic “Stay,” which is only 96 seconds long.

§     The song caused some controversy over Billboard’s decision to remove it from it’s Country chart, saying it lack enough “country elements” to fit the genre.

§     Billy Ray Cyrus jumped in to do the remix with him to help him get on the chart.

#SummerLoving

§     A “Grease” prequel is in the works!

§     The movie will focus on Danny and Sandy’s initial meeting, before the events of the original musical and movie.

§     In the song “Summer Nights,” the two recount their meeting…Danny’s version being pretty graphic and Sandy’s being very innocent.

§     The prequel’s story will tackle that fateful meeting.

§     No word on when it will be out.
