§     The Empire star was transported to the hospital after he was the victim of an apparent hate crime Tuesday morning around 2am in Chicago.

§     Chicago PD confirmed that he was involved in a “racially-charged assault and battery.”

§     The actor said a group of men yelled racial and homophobic slurs at him, along with wrapping a rope around his neck.

§     An unknown chemical substance, believed to be bleach, was then poured on him.

§     The offenders fled the scene.

§     Smollett was transported to Northwestern hospital and is in good condition.

§     The actress is being sued after allegedly skiing into a man, causing serious injuries.

§     The incident happened in February of 2016 in Deer Valley, Utah.

§     The man says she skied out of control, hit the backs of him and another skier, knocking him down hard, knocking him out, and causing a brain injury, four broken ribs and other serious injuries.

§     He said that she got up, turned and skied away, leaving him stunned, lying in the show, seriously injured.

§     She is denying the allegations, saying that the lawsuit is without merit and that she expects to be vindicated.

§     They are offering free pizza for a year and tickets to Super Bowl 54 to the first baby born after kickoff.

§     To win, parents with a baby born during the game simply need to post a photo on Twitter of their new arrival, including the exact time of birth, tagging Pizza Hut.

§     Though it’s too early to know which teams will play next year, the game is expected to take place in Miami.
