§     The scam ring was busted yesterday after over 50 people were charged in a $25 million college entrance exam cheating scheme.

§     Hollywood actresses Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman are among those charged.

§     The alleged scam focused on getting students admitted to elite universities as recruited athletes, regardless of their athletic abilities, and helping potential students cheat on their college exams.

§     Loughlin and her fashion designer husband paid bribes totaling $500,000 to better their two daughters chances of getting into USC.

§     Huffman and her husband, William H. Macy, paid $15k to get one of their daughters unlimited time for her SAT test.

 

#Travel

§     Survey: Americans are traveling alone more than ever.

§     Nearly 1 in 4 Americans prefers traveling alone.

§     Getting some head space, the pursuit of mindfulness, and the fact that others hold them back were the main reasons.

§     And 50% of travelers say they’d be more willing to talk to locals while traveling alone.

 

#Aladdin

§     No more teasers…Disney released the first full-length trailer for the film was released yesterday.

§     It gave audiences a good look at Aladdin’s world and we got a better sense of Will Smith playing the character, Genie.

§     The movie hits theaters on May 24th.

§     The announcement has been made…we know who the next Bachelorette will be!

§     SPOILER: It’s Hannah Brow, the former pageant queen, who finished seventh on the Colton Underwood season.

§     She got the news via a Facetime call from Chris Harrison.

§     Season 15 of “The Bachelorette” premieres Monday, May 13th.
