§     The former “Today Show” host, who recently finalized his divorce, denies the allegation that he raped his former NBC News colleague Brooke Nevils, claiming their relationship was consensual.

§     Variety magazine published details from Ronan Farrow’s new book about the incident where Nevils said, “It was nonconsensual in the sense that I was too drunk to consent.”

§     Lauer penned a lengthy response yesterday claiming the encounter was “extramarital, but consensual.”

§     Sources from NBC say that people knew he was having affairs but nobody ever knew it was with people associated with NBC.

§     Survey: The average American hasn’t made a new friend in 5 years.

§     45% of adults admit that they find it hard to make new friends and about 2 in 5 say they have trouble with it because they are introverts or shy.

§     Some other reasons for an anti-social attitude include commitments to family (29%), not having hobbies that are conducive to making friends (28%) and moving to a new city (21%).

 

#Rihanna

§     She has confirmed the tumors that she turned down the Super Bowl halftime show.

§     In a new interview with Vogue, she said that she declined in solidarity with former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

§     She said she couldn’t be a sellout or an enabler and that there are things within the NFL that she does not agree with at all.

§     Last month the NFL announced that Jennifer Lopez and Shakira would be the headlining acts for the halftime show on Feb. 2 in Miami.

§     Just in time to celebrate Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, General Mills is bringing back Star Wars cereal in two new limited-edition boxes.

§     The boxes feature BB8 with new droid, D-O and Kyle Ren with a red Sith Trooper.

§     The fruity-flavored cereal features BB-8, R2-D2, Jedi Starfighter, stormtrooper and lightsaber shaped marshmallow pieces.

§     The Rise of Skywalker movie comes out in theaters on December 20th.
