§     What started as a joke playing on America’s fascination with aliens has now turned into a pop culture event.

§     Last night was Alien Stock at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, where Matty Roberts, the creator of Storm Area 51, ended up going after he realized his joke was being taken seriously.

§     They had EDM artists, art and a big party celebrating all things extra-terrestrial.

§     For tonight, the FAA is closing down airspace over Area 51.

§     Campers with their trucks and trailers have already staked out space on federal land across a highway.

§     Survey: Americans No. 1 financial regret of last year? Not saving enough money.

§     In terms of “not saving,” there were specific categories in which they wanted to save for with retirement being the top pick, followed by a home, a car, a vacation and college.

§     Number 2 was spending too much.

§     The top things people spend too much on is dining out, clothes/shoes, cigarettes, alcohol and their cell phone.

§     The daughter of the late Soundgarden frontman, Chris Cornell, released a new ballad.

§     The song was produced by Chris Cornell before his death.

§     It is her first single and it’s called “Far Away Places.”

§     She’s 15-years-old but she wrote the song when she was 12.

§     The doughnut chain is offering fans a chance to have their coffee and eat it too!

§     Beginning next week, they’re introducing the new Original Filled Coffee Kreme Doughnut.

§     It will only be available for one week and it’s to celebrate National Coffee Day on September 29th.
